Part time Chef/Cook

We’re looking for an additional chef to join our busy kitchen team at The Babbacombe Inn on Babbacombe Downs.


We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who can work well under pressure in a busy short order environment.


We are open 7 days a week and looking to cover 2 shifts a week.

Kitchen Porter/Commis Chef

Experience: Previous kitchen portering/assistant experience preferred.

We are looking for a kitchen porter/commis to help with food prep and ensure that the kitchen is kept clean and immaculate.


We are looking for a team player who is friendly, punctual, hardworking, committed and takes pride in their work.


This role will suit someone who is available to work part time, 3-4 days a week, including daytime, evening and weekend shifts.

Seasonal Restaurant OR Bar Assistant

Requirements: Must be 16+

As a restaurant assistant, you will be responsible for preparing and serving desserts and replenishing cutlery and sauces to assist the restaurant team.


As a bar assistant, you will be responsbile for collecting glasses, running them through the glass wash, packing them away and restocking the bar.


This position requires someone who is available to work weekdays and weekends including, lunch service (1pm – 5pm) or dinner service (6pm – 10pm). Must be available for July & August.


This is a seasonal position with the potential to to be extended into the Autumn/Winter Months.

Includes: Bonus Scheme & Tip Share.

Part Time Bar/Waiting Staff

Requirements: Must be 18+

In this role, you will be responsible for serving drinks behind the bar, taking orders and card payments correctly, delivering food and drink, answering the phone and taking bookings, whilst delivering fantastic customer service.


This role will suit someone looking to work 2 shifts a week, including daytime & evenings, plus must be available for weekends.

Seasonal Food & Drink Assistant

Requirements: Must be 16+

As a food & drink assistant, you will be responsible for delivering food and drink to tables, clearing and cleaning tables promptly and efficiently and replenishing cutlery and glassware, whilst delivering fantastic customer service.

This position includes a mixture of weekday and weekend work but you must be available to work weekends as part of your working schedule.

Must be available for July & August.

This is a seasonal position with the potential to become permanent.

Includes: Bonus Scheme & Tip Share.
